If you're a new mum or about to be, then congratulations! It’s not uncommon for a session with a newborn to last 3-4 hours, allowing plenty of time to feed and comfort. New babies are usually more comfortable at home where you can control your climate and have access to all your personal belongings. I can take the mobile studio, props and set-ups to you if this suits you. I consider it a privilage to be invited into a person's home in the early days of a new addition but if you think you would like to visit the studio, I can arrange for your little bundle to be as comfortable as possible. I love interesting, organic textures like woollen blankets, crochet cocoons, teeny hats and wicker baskets and so they may create a backdrop for my work. Every shoot is different because every baby is different. I enjoy photographing children of all ages because of their true innocence and honesty. Fleeting moments are so precious. I take the time to work with your family so that your photos show the true spirit of your children. I want your portraits to be a celebration of your life, full of giggles, smiles and twinkling eyes, cuddles, fun stuffs and even shiny tears. I try to combine classic portraiture with artistic and more modern treatments. Natural expressions are what makes your little models stand out from the crowd and I feel it is important to let the child’s personality emerge through the photos. My style is simple and casual with little direction, just quiet observation with my camera. It’s all about timing and giving your child the freedom and space to be themselves. I strive to capture images that will make you smile and remember those little details so easily forgotten. Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving...it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything – Aaron Siskind
